No words...

I have been thinking and praying about this post since everything transpired on Monday. I have struggled with finding the words to share about what has happened. So, instead of waiting...instead of finding the perfect words...I'm just going to SHOUT IT OUT....shout out what our Lord has done!

God has done something that I've seen Him do for other families. I would sit back and marvel at the miracle and be blessed beyond comprehension so imagine my amazement when it happened to us on Monday.

I received an email through my Etsy shop on Monday. You know...the monday after I wrote THIS post. A precious mama, whom I've NEVER met, wanted to donate to our adoption fund. She was going to talk with her hubby and then get back to me.

Later that afternoon I received an email from her and it said. "I talked to my husband and we decided to send a $2000 donation to go towards your adoption."

Okay, now I'm crying again...I honestly could not stop shaking for like an hour after I received that email. I was so flooded with the love of our Lord...it was just the day before that I had a talkin' to from Him about fear and trust. I mean HONESTLY, who gives $2000 to a complete stranger?? Only our Lord!! I have since learned that this beautiful family is also an adoptive family...again, another amazing God thing! My poor hubby..when I called him bawling and he was worried something was wrong! We are both so deeply blessed by this sweet family's example of selfless giving, their open ears to the Lord, their heart for the orphan, and love for God.

So needless to say, our family is in complete awe that God has once again confirmed that this is OUR son and that He IS going to provide and that I don't need to be afraid. Crazy, hun?!?

He is so good! We too have been blown away by God moving on people's hearts to give so generously towards our adoptions. God is so good to encourage us and to provide for us as we walk in obedience. We are so happy for you friend!

He IS faithful. He IS good. His mercy endures forever and he IS the Father to the Fatherless. Continuing to pray for His provision and His timing. You know we are shouting the praises of the Lord from here. We love you!!

WOW.

And why are we surprised when He works in the hearts of His people and they act in obedience?

But still.

We are.

And I suppose utter amazement is a good thing.

Standing amazed with you.

Hi Stacey,

I'm here visiting through Linny's blog and have been lingering for a few days now as I've been trying to figure out which of those 40 entries I should give to :) I was getting ready to contact you when I saw your update. Our God is so faithful!!! Brought tears to my eyes. I had actually already decided last night that I was going to give to you as something about you stood out to me... In fact, I told my husband about you last night ;) Your family is so beautiful and inspiring! We have 3 biological children and are working on getting to a place where we can begin our own adoption journey.

Although, I'm not able to bless you with some crazy amount of money :)... it is God's Crazy Love that brings me here to contribute towards bringing Solomon home. I wanted to be a part of Linny's Crazy Love challenge, and needed to find a way to be able to give... So, I've been raising my own funds for the orphan by selling things on Ebay. God had been placing Luke 12:33 on my heart, "Sell your possessions, and give to the needy." So in this, I have found my way to be a part of His plan to care for the orphan, while I wait for His plan and perfect timing for our own family to unfold.

I'd like to have a couple pieces made, so if you could email me @ tiffany778@mac.com, so that we could discuss options, that would be great. If you don't mind, I'd also like to post a link to your blog on my facebook page?

Crazy Love and blessings to you and your family!

Wow, how amazing are the works of the Lord - and the coolest thing is that sometimes he lets people be part of it!

So happy for you and for your family. Especially for sweet Solomon who doesn't have a clue how his world is gonna get turned upside down when he meets his new Mama and Daddy!
