The implications of Proposition 8 failing are HUGE!!!! We need to vote YES on Proposition 8 to protect marriage...marriage as the bibles defines between an MAN and a WOMAN!! Watch this very important video. If Prop. 8 fails, our parental rights to educate and raise our children according to how WE choose will be ripped away from us. Nothing is as it seems and the homosexual community's agenda is not simply a sexual preference but an agenda to destroy biblical beliefs and principles...to implement a 'tolerance' that is far from biblical truths! As Christians, we need to be educating others on this proposition. It has been purposely written to confuse voters...surprise, surprise!! (don't forget to scroll down and pause my site music)

Potty Training ~ Round 2
Something tells me we are going to have many "rounds" with 2 girls to potty train. Remember how we...ehhheemmm...IIIII began potty training the girls (with daddy's encouragement ;) a month ago. Soooo, that last like 2 days and I couldn't take living in the bathroom all day long and reading every children's story known to man and still no potty!!! So, I figured I'd give it a few more months.
Well, it looks like little miss 'C' is going to potty train herself...yippee!!! It all started at our homeschool co-op classes. The last 2 times they said she used the potty and 'S' even used it today. As soon as we got home, 'C' said she needed to go potty and sure enough she did. I put her in pink panties and she kept saying, "Thank you mama...thank you for my pink panties...wook at me...wook at me...I have pink panties." She was sooo excited! Maybe if I get her princess panties that will seal the deal...you can't tinkle on the princesses :) Oh, my silly girls!

Cardboard Testimony
This is beautiful.... (Oh, don't forget to pause my site music at the bottom)
What would your cardboard testimony be? The first one that comes to mind for us is:
~God closed our womb after our first born...our hearts GRIEVED
~God brought us 4 miracle babies through adoption...UNSPEAKABLE JOY!!!

Too Long...
It has been far too long since I've posted. I'm sorry ;)
In all honesty, I haven't been sure what I've wanted to say. Our hearts are so heavy for so many of our sweet friends. There are some major trials that they are having to endure...life and death trials for so many. The physical, emotional, and spiritual battle is very heavy right now! It has prompted us to pray virtually without ceasing. With every thought of these families, we are praying!! With every thought of these families, we are asking the Lord how can we be changed...how can we be used...we are reminded of the very blessings we take for granted every moment. It has caused us to slow down a bit and focus on all the beauty the Lord has given our family. Lord, we are so undeserving!
Sit quietly and listen to the words of this song...so sweet...so true!
Though the storms may come, I am holding on to the rock I cling
How can I keep from singing your praise
How can I ever say enough
How amazing is your love
How can I keep from shouting your name
I KNOW that I'm LOVED by the King and it make my heart want to sing
These pictures were from a day of this mama sitting and watching my miracles play...play without any burdens or cares.

Our Twins
You would not believe how many people genuinely ask if the girls are twins. It's hilarious...I've started saying 'yes, they are'....just to see their reaction. They are 3.5months apart. I guess it is a little sneaky that I dress them alike ;)
We were having fun taking pictures the other day...look how adorable they are!! They may not look like twins but they act like twins in every way. It's crazy...God prepared them to be 'twin sisters' even though they were separated for the first 14months of their lives.

Happy Birthday Sweet Princess
August 6 - Our baby girl turned 2! Yes...another birthday...4 of our kids are within 5 weeks of each other and daddy ends the birthday dash on Sept. 18. It's crazy, exhausting but lots of fun!
Our little 'S' has quite the story...she was our surprise baby...yes, surprise adoptions do happen. We were fostering for our agency to pass the time as we waited for the referral of our sweet C (We needed some babies to love on :). LOTS of amazing miracles later....S's amazing bmom was certain that we were S's parents and she wanted us to adopt her. She was fully aware that we were waiting for C to come home but she had so much peace with S being our daughter. We were so blown away by her confidence during this difficult situation. We are blessed by this amazing mama and love her so much. We are able to have an open relationship with her and it's absolutelty priceless!!
S is an unbelievably happy little girl. She has the best sense of humor and is just about as ornery as they come...she is such a blast. She has a precious, precious heart and has the sweetest personality!! The joy and laughter she brings to our house is amazing! Baby girl, we love you so much and can't imagine our lives without you. You are our perfect little peanut...our perfect little miracle!

How many mommy's can we have in one house?
So, we (well...I) attempted potty training the girls. Whatever...it's impossible to potty train 2 at once! S was doing pretty good but C would not sit still for nothing. She was practically doing gymnastics on the potty. So, I decided to just do S with the hopes that C would follow behind.
Well, long story short...we are going to put if off for a couple more months :) The girls just turned 2 so I'm hoping they'll be ready soon.
Soooooooo, yesterday I walked into the sitting room and saw a naked S, a diaper laying on the floor, and next to it a puddle of pee. I told S she needed to use the potty soooo mama C hurded S to the bathroom...literally pushing her...C sat S on the little potty and said, "Go potty." Then C jumped on top of the big potty (seat down), picked up a book to read and encouraged S to go 'peepee'. I wished I had my camera, it was hilarious.
Then last night, C told S it was time for her to go to bed. She gave S her binkie, blanket, prayed with her, and tucked her in. C is only 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are too much!!

Our Young Man & Our youngest son's salvation
AUGUST 17...someone tell me....HOW IS IT POSSIBLE that my first born is now 11 years old?!?!? I'm not sure where the time has gone but if it continues at this pace my baby will 18 the next time I blink my eyes.
Talk about an amazing young man! 'T' is an unbelievably gentle & sensitive guy. He is brilliant (has his daddy's brains) and thinks on such a deep level. He is an amazing leader. He loves our Lord so deeply and loves learning about what the bible says.

The other day we were sitting at the dinner table and we were praying for dinner. Typically one of the kids will pray and then daddy will pray. Well, daddy was praying and apparently 'I' (our 5 year old) was on open-eye patrol because as soon as daddy finished,
'I' yelled, "Tr. had her eyes opened!!"
'T': "How did you know 'Tr.' had her eyes open?"
'I': "I just did. She's not going to go to heaven."
Of course, that opened a great opportunity for mom and dad.
Mom: "'I', do you know how you get into heaven?
'I': "Yup"
Mom keeps on talking, "You have to ask Jesus into....."
'I' interrupts me and says, "Ya, I know you have to ask Jesus into your heart....I already did!!"
Daddy and I look at each other with a 'Hun?' look
Mom: "Honey, when did you do that?"
'I': "Oh, the other day with 'T'"
Now, daddy and I are flipping out inside....
'T': "Oh ya, I was telling 'I' about heaven and hell and he said he wanted to go to heaven not hell. So, I prayed with him and he asked Jesus into his heart."
CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?!?!? Our oldest son lead his little brother to the Lord...that just floors me!! That's the kind of big brother he is. Oh, to be so quick and ready to share...we are so proud of him!! Now I'm not saying he doesn't have his moments of cheer joy as he torments the entire house but all-in-all he has taken his roll as the oldest very seriously.
'T', we love you so much. You are on of our greatest joys and we are soooo blessed by you. We watch with great excitement as we see the Lord molding and shaping you. He has BIG plans for you!!

All dressed up for Aunt Jamie's wedding.
Could he be any prouder of his new baby sister??
How about his new baby brother?
